Also on the evening was a fascinating talk given by Deputy Director of the South Atlantic Environmental Research Institute (SAERI), Tara Pemlembe on an exciting new Academia, Research & Conferences live investment opportunity called the St Helena Research Institute (SHRI) which is scheduled to launch later this month.
It was a lovely evening to be a part of and it was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and meet new investors and business owners all of whom, like us, are invested in celebrating, growing and developing St Helena.
The event ended with an informal gathering over tea, coffee and of course our delicious cakes and treats. We baked coconut fingers, cheese Straws, pumpkin Puddin, curry puffs and ‘Bread n Dance’. Offering two gluten-free options for those who preferred it.
