Visiting St Helena is now a bit easier as an international airport opened in 2017, with weekly flights from Johannesburg. Some planning is still needed as there are some special requirements for visiting the Island.  The St Helena Tourism website has some more detailed information about what is required when visiting St Helena. There are also some international tour operators offering tours to St Helena. You can also visit St Helena by yacht or on a cruise ship.
